Duhamel is a small hamlet near the town of Kamroz (Alberta). The report on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were in the local newspaper a few weeks before the discovery of crop circles.
Circles in the fields was discovered by accident.
A local farmer, Mr. Silke, went to his field to collect the cows. Cows are usually returned from the pasture independently, but on Saturday, 5 August 1967, after a night of heavy rains, the animals did not return home. He did it very rarely, so were their fields of fiction for a few weeks. So that day it was the first time he noticed the quirky prints on their land - four round sign with a diameter of about 30 feet. Mr. Silke made clear to the investigator that the marks on the field could not be made by his equipment, and he didn't believe in UFOs.
