"About 9 years ago I'm face to face with a large unusual animal in San Jose, California. I never told anyone, only my closest friends.

My friend bathed that night in the bathroom, and I played with his cat. Then I walked into the living room, which was a glass door leading to the back yard, and suddenly saw in the backyard a strange animal.

First I noticed the glitter of his eyes in the dark, and then began to see the outlines of his body. In height, it was almost 2 meters and was sitting hunched over on short hind legs, and its forelegs ended in long claws. This animal was looking right at me through the glass door so I screamed and stood on his hind legs and slowly went somewhere.

When it disappeared, I ran to my boyfriend and told him about it. To be honest, at first I thought it was a giant raccoon. This place is full of raccoons and my aunt is constantly faced with them, feeding street cats. Raccoons love to climb on garbage cans and know how to expertly pull off the cover. This strange animal stood there, where there was a trash can.

I didn't tell anybody about this case, even the aunt, thinking she would think I was crazy, and tried to forget about it. But a few months ago I remembered about it and it started to torment me. Before, I never even heard of cryptids and do not knew this word, and also never believed in Bigfoot. But when I started to search the Internet animal similar in description to what I saw, I came across a description of a gigantic extinct sloth. It was the closest thing similar to what I saw."
