A witness living in new York (in Suffolk County on the East coast of the United States), said he was awakened by a strange noise before he saw the creature, standing by his bed. This story was published on the MUFON website.
The witness was sleeping peacefully in his bed when he was suddenly awakened by what he called the strange buzz.
He says:
"And then I turned around and opened his eyes. I saw a creature about 5 feet and 3 inches (160 cm) tall. He stood silently near the door of my bathroom, looking at me. He was wearing a sort of blue suit and black boots that rose to his knees. His clothes covered his entire body except neck and face, which was weird and very strange. He had a sad look, and his skin looked very wrinkled."
The witness was, for obvious reasons, so frightened that he cried, trying to keep this unwanted visitor out of the humanoid.

The witness woke up five hours later and the entity has completely disappeared:

Sa tenue couvrait tout son corps excepté son cou et son visage, qui était horrible à regarder et très étrange. Il avait un regard triste et sa peau paraissait être très ridée. »
Le témoin avait, et on le comprend, très peur à ce point qu’il a crié afin d’essayer d’éloigner cet indésirable visiteur humanoïde.
« Je ne pouvais pas bouger. Puis j’ai immédiatement perdu connaissance, ou peut-être qu’il m’est arrivé quelque chose d’analogue. Il y avait un astronaute laid dans ma maison. Je pense qu’il m’a assommé bien qu’il soit demeuré immobile et ne s’était donc pas avancer vers moi. »
Le témoin s’est réveillé cinq heures plus tard et l'entité avait totalement disparu :
« Je n’étais pas sûr de ce qui s’était passé. Mais je me suis rappelé, deux jours plus tard, avoir vu cette créature. J’espère que je ne la reverrai plus jamais. J’ai découvert une marque bizarre dans mon dos autour de mon omoplate. Elle n’était pas là auparavant. Et une douleur étrange est apparue au niveau de mon épaule. C’est terrible. Ces extraterrestres peuvent venir dans votre maison à l'improviste et tard dans la nuit. Cela me fait très peur. Je n’ai plus dormi depuis que cela s’est produit. »
