Initial data
Red swamp near Mozyr always been famous for their legends about the strange creatures, almost dreamlike, but real, which live in the surrounding area. One of the most sentimental stories related to this marsh have occurred in 2001.
An eyewitness said in an interview to a local newspaper about a chance encounter with a girl with eyes the color of muddy sea water.
26 June 2001 one of the witnesses went in consecrated water source near the village of Kamenka (Mozyr district). There is very pure water, and the place itself is very nice and calm. However, short of 10 meters to the well, he noticed the kid, 11-12 years old, girl. She sat and drank water by her hands.
"I was about to call her and ask if she was lost as she looked around. I was not myself — I've seen those eyes the color of muddy water. Don't remember how, but I was at arm's length from this girl. She smiled at me (or rather, one eye than facial expressions) and held out a palm full of bright red berries.
...Somewhere in the distance slammed the door of the car (it's someone else stopped to get water), the girl looked around, and rushed somewhere to the side. After a moment I looked around — nobody was there except a man with a canister for drinking water.
That it was real, said scattered berries and "stupid" headache (mild). I looked at the berries. It turned out to be wolf berries... But I remembered that once I had described the eyes of mermaids , so these eyes I just saw..."
On the hill there are only scattered wolf berries and the smell of humus.

Hypotheses
Deliberate falsification
This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.
There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.
Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.
Investigation
On the website bestiary.us stated that the story is likely fiction local writer, known under the names of Andrew Gorbachuk and Ian Snegin. Unfortunately, the reason not specified. Probably something similar happened in his works.
