Initial data
The story of the witness anomalous phenomena resident of the village of Sadovka Ivan Zhukovsky:
“It happened on a lake in the village of Zaozerye. I was sitting in the boat. It was a warm summer day. The sky was clear. The breeze, unable even to shake the reed, caused a barely perceptible ripple in the water. Suddenly my attention was attracted by the noise. The nature and strength he resembled earlier that I heard the sound of the movement of the inflatable rubber boat with outboard motor. I looked around, but instead of a boat I saw at a distance of 150-200 feet from me rotating water column with a height of about 4 meters and a diameter of 6 meters.
The column was moving across the lake with the speed of a slow cyclist (2,5-3 meters per second), leaving a wave like the motion of the boat. They made a noise. Wildly rotating water vortex by itself, the noise issued. It had the shape of a cylinder with smooth walls like promoted inside very long bottles of liquid, but here the “bottle“ remained invisible. As you move the column increased in height without changing the diameter.
Reaching a height of 7-8 meters, it stopped growing. The phenomenon ended unexpectedly quickly: before reaching the shore, 15 meters, the water column is noisy boomed down quickly if knocked over a huge bowl of water or as if someone pressed the “button“ and shut off power at 'turbine'. Waves from falling from a height, however, was not high. All lasted one or two minutes. Strong winds, sudden gusts, I have not noticed“.
