Parallel world. Spain

In 2007, a large article about the theory of parallel worlds was posted on the Spanish-language scientific website Tendencias 21, and on July 16, 2008, an unusual comment was left to it from a 41-year-old woman named Lerina Garcia Gordo, who is still actively discussed on various paranormal sites.

The woman asked journalists for help and, among other things, left her email address for communication, the fact is that she was sure that she had entered a parallel world and that our universe was an alien universe for her. 

Early in the morning, four months before this message, Lerina woke up in her bed and immediately saw that her sheets were of a different color, and also of a different material. This discovery confused the woman very much, she could not understand what had happened, whether someone had changed her sheets while she was sleeping or she had done it herself the day before, but she had forgotten.

But there was no time to sit and think about the riddle, Lerina had to get ready and go to work in the office where she had worked for more than 20 years. Apart from the sheets, there was nothing unusual in her house anymore, and when Lerina went outside, her car was also standing in its usual place. 

Lerina drove to work without incident on the usual road, which she always traveled, and here, too, she did not notice anything strange, but when she entered the office, she immediately saw several completely unfamiliar people who worked there on a par with those employees whom she had known well for a long time.

It seemed strange to her, no one had previously told her that new employees would be hired here, but when Lerina approached her office, everything became even more frightening - there was a sign with a completely different name hanging on her office.

Trying to calm the growing panic in her soul, Lerina ordered herself to calm down and thought that most likely she just went out on someone else's floor, because there were similar office premises on other floors too. But a quick investigation revealed that the floor was completely correct and that a sign with someone else's name was hanging on the door of Lerina's office.

Lerina completely ceased to understand what was happening. Was she fired without notice, and another employee was taken in her place? After 20 years of working in this office and doing this to her? What's going on?!

In an attempt to check her email, Lerina opened her laptop and connected to the local office network. And then she found her name on the list of employees, but now it turned out that she worked in a completely different department and with a different boss. Lerina's head was already beginning to ache from all these oddities.

The woman took out her wallet and began checking her credit cards and other documents, but all of them showed her familiar information and data. Same name, same numbers, same home address. 

Not knowing what to think, Lerina called the general authorities and said that she was ill and could not go to work. She really decided that she had something wrong with her head and that's why these strange things are happening around her. 

Then Lerina went straight to her doctor and he told her to immediately take several tests to check, among other things, whether there were drugs in her body. Soon the results of the tests were received - nothing suspicious was found in Lerina's body. There wasn't even a trace of alcohol in her blood, either. 

After that, Lerina decided to return home and began checking all her checks, bank statements, bills, and so on. She didn't find any deviations there, everything was the same as before. So now Lerina decided that something had happened to her memory, maybe amnesia.

She went online and started checking news sites, but all she saw was that everything was the same as yesterday, that is, nothing strange and she had no missed days or anything like that. It all turned out that when Lerina woke up this morning, she just began to live a slightly different life. 

Lerina was almost ready to come to terms with this when another shocking detail came to light. The fact is that six months ago Lerina broke up with her ex-boyfriend, with whom she spent seven years, and a few months ago she began dating a man living next door, whose name was Augustine. And when she decided to call this Augustine on that strange day, a completely different man picked up the phone and said that there was no Augustine in their family and that there were no people with that name in their house either.

This news shocked Lerina so much that she refused to believe it. She remembered well how she had been dating Augustine for the last four months and even made friends with his young son from his first marriage. And now it turned out that these people seemed to have been permanently erased from her life. 

By the end of the day, Lerina revealed a few more discrepancies from various aspects of her life, but the next morning she had no choice but to go to the office and pretend that everything was as usual. In the following days, in order to still try to find her Augustine, Lerina even hired a private detective, but he did not find a trace of this man. 

But Lerina got a call from her boyfriend, with whom she had previously broken up and it turned out that he did not even know that they were breaking up, for him they are still a couple who goes on a date and so on. Then Lerina went to a psychiatrist with the assumption that she might have hallucinations, but he did not find any signs of this. 

"I swear that all this is real, I am completely sane, but even my own family does not remember that my sister had shoulder surgery a month ago, as if nothing like this had happened. And there are many other little things there. Unfortunately, I don't really understand the news, so I can't say if there was a big difference between what was before and what is now, but in my opinion nothing in the world has changed there," Lerina wrote.

So week after week went by and there were many more strange things. In her closet, the woman found clothes that, according to her recollections, she had never bought, and the posts on her personal blog on the Internet that she had written earlier had disappeared somewhere. Her email and chat settings also changed and now the archive of messages was no longer saved on her computer. 

And then one day the idea of parallel universes came to Lerina's head and she decided. that this particular option can explain everything that happened to her - she somehow moved into a parallel world. After that, she found an article about parallel worlds on the web and wrote a big comment about her story there.

A few years later, Lerina's story spread all over the Internet, and in 2014, the woman again left a comment on the same article. She wrote that she was amazed at how popular her strange story had become and said that over the years she had received about 6 thousand letters from netizens to her mail, including in Chinese, Arabic and Russian.  

However, few of these authors tried to help Lerina, mostly they were wondering what happened to her next and whether she still lives in the wrong universe. However, 5% of the letters really helped Lerina to sort out her problem a little, in addition, over the years she has visited psychiatrists, physicists and parapsychologists. 

Lerina wrote that she was "a little closer to the truth" and that man, in principle, lives in a world of illusions and that we are only energy, which then goes into the universe and is processed there. In general, Lerina became interested in meditation and esotericism, perhaps this helps her to come to terms with the fact that she found herself in the "wrong" world and stayed in it forever.

My name is Luz, I'm 41 years old, and I think I jumped into a parallel universe. I can hardly tell you, because many people will think that I am a psychopath, and no one will believe me. Please, if someone has had a similar experience, write me an email. 

One day I woke up and everything was different, nothing special or anything to do with time travel and the like, I just woke up in the same year, and on the same day, but many things were different. These are small things, but important enough to know that this was a turning point when everything became different. In fact, if this is a dream, you are all in a dream, because what I am writing does not exist, so if someone responds, they live in the same reality as me, regardless of whether it is my dream or not.

About 4 months ago I woke up in a normal morning, I was in my rental house where I lived for 7 years, everything was the same, except that the set of sheets that was on my bed was different, I didn't attach importance to it at that time. Well, I went to my office, in my car, which was parked as always, and it was the same office where I had worked for the last 20 years. 

But when I came to my office, it wasn't my office, it had names on the doors, and I didn't. I thought I had the wrong entrance, but it was the right one.

My office is the same, all the same papers that I keep and everything is the same. Soon after I realized that something strange was happening, I thought it was some kind of amnesia, something had happened to me anyway, and I didn't remember a time in my life, but no, I logged on to the internet, and it was the day that should be and the news, at least the important ones, were the same as the day before. 

I haven't been with my partner for 7 years, I left him and started a relationship with a guy from my neighborhood. I know him very well, I spent 4 months with him, and I know his name, surname, address, where he works and what kind of son he has and where he studies. And he doesn't exist now. It seems that it existed before my "jump", but now there are no signs.

I hired a detective to find him, but he's not here. I've been to a psychiatrist, and he attributes it to stress. He thinks it's a hallucination, but I know it's not.

 My ex-boyfriend talks to me like I'm a thing. I have never given a reason to behave like this, and Agustin (my boyfriend now) seems to have never existed here, he does not live in the apartment where he lived, and there is no his Hojo. I swear it's real, I'm sane. My own family doesn't remember things like my sister's shoulder surgery a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember many important things about the news, but the rest of the world seems the same. 

There have been a lot of little things over the past five months, and now there's a lot of nonsense, clothes that I have in my closet that I didn't buy...

PLEASE, if something like this happened to someone, please contact me to see what could have happened, I can't find a pathology that would match what happened to me. 

I've been reading all the theories I've found for five months, and I'm convinced that it was a leap between worlds, something, some decision made, some action that changed some things. 

To explain it, it's like I lost my memory 5 months ago and woke up seeing these 5 months in a dream, provided that everyone remembers me at that time, and I did something I didn't know. 

Please refrain from funny comments. This is very serious for me.

 On the morning of July 16, 2008, Lerina woke up and found that her sheets were a different color. She was confused and worried by the fact that they were a completely different color. It wasn't just different colors. Unable to find a rational explanation, Lerina decided to pack up and go to her office to work. The job she's been working at for the last 20 years.

Her car was parked in the same place where she had left it last night. She got into it and drove away, following the same path she had been used to since she moved into her apartment seven years ago. Apart from the sheets, everything else seemed ordinary to Lerina. That was until she arrived at her office. There were a few strange people inside the office building that she hadn't met before, but they didn't arouse her suspicions. Lerina entered her own office and found that a tag with a different name was hanging on the door of the office. It wasn't her name.

Then she thought that she might have got the wrong floor of the building, but a quick observation showed that she was on the right floor. She went into the right office, just her name was replaced.

Lerina was confused. She wondered if she had been fired and why no one had told her about it. She took out her computer and connected to the company's wireless network. There she discovered that she was still on the company's list, but it showed that she was subordinate to another manager, in a completely different department. Her head was spinning.

She immediately checked her credit cards, driver's license, and service ID. They all reflected the correct information, as far as she knew. The same name, the same photo, the same numbers and the same address. Not knowing what to think, she called work and said she was taking sick leave. The inconsistencies that morning made her think there was something medically wrong with her.

Taking a day off, she went straight to the doctor's office. There she was tested, looking for signs of the presence of illegal drugs in her body. The tests were negative. There was no alcohol or drugs in her system.

Lerina returned home and began to look through her personal files. Bank statements, personal checks, bills, I looked at them twice. Everyone was showing the correct information. And then an idea came to her. What if it's amnesia? "What if something happens to me and I can't remember some moments of my life?"

She immediately logged in and started exploring the Internet. She saw that the news and the main reports were the same as the night before. Lerina came to the conclusion that after waking up, she lives a slightly different life.

It's been six months since Lerina broke up with her boyfriend. They had only been dating for four months, but she knew him well enough. When she called her boyfriend's number, someone else answered. He told Lerina that no one named Augustine, or anyone similar to her description, lives in this house.

This news surprised her, since she had spent the last four months with this guy. I even met his son and started a relationship with him. But now there is no trace of her boyfriend and son. Every day she discovered more and more inconsistencies. She had no choice but to go to work the next day and pretend that she was working.

Lerina continued to look for her boyfriend, but no one had heard about Augustine or his son. It seemed that they had never existed. Then she found out that she had never broken up with her ex-boyfriend. They had been together for seven years and there was no indication that they had broken up.

Lerina didn't know what to think. What happened to the life she knew? What happened to his career? Is everything really out of control?

She was only thinking that maybe at some point she had a nervous breakdown. Serious enough to put false memories in her head, or at least that's what she thought when she visited a psychiatric clinic. However, tests have shown that she is in a healthy body and sane mind.

The doctors said that she may have been under a lot of stress and could have been scared. Such an explanation occurred to her, but she knew it wasn't true. She started looking for her boyfriend, Augustine, but in the end she didn't find anything. The hired investigator came to the conclusion that there were no traces of either Augustine or his son in that city.

Her family decided that Lerina was going crazy when she asked about her younger sister's shoulder surgery. They looked at her in confusion when Lerina insisted that her sister had recently had shoulder surgery. A statement that no one in his family could support. As far as her family knew, no family member had had any surgery.

Days, weeks and months passed until Lerina began to discover small but discouraging differences in her life. Clothes in drawers and closets that she didn't remember buying, blog entries that she didn't make, and those that she did-disappeared. However, looking through news sites and blogs, the world seemed the same. The way she remembered him before going to bed that July night.

Months passed, and she could not find answers, and Lerina was convinced that one night she just went to bed and woke up in a parallel universe. A world in which her life was changed by small decisions of her past.
