The witness (10-11 years old, Nevin Pfalzgraf), the son of missionaries stationed in this isolated area near the border with Cameroon, explored the area a few hundred yards from the back of the house, not far from the foot of a very large hill, up which rose a sloping slope of rock.
It was about 100 yards away, separated by large berry bushes through which he could see the rock.
Suddenly a movement caught his attention, and looking in that direction, he saw several "humanoid" creatures walking along the rock in single file, looking ahead. He doesn't remember the number, but he thinks it was between 3 and 5. Because of the distance, it was difficult to judge their height, but it seemed to him that they were about 5 feet (1.5 m) tall.
They were orange-red in color and didn't seem to be wearing clothes or carrying anything. They seemed to be asexual, and he couldn't see any details on their features.
The most important aspect of this experience (according to Nevin) was his reaction: he instantly "knew" that what he saw was abnormal, although at the time, being cut off from the news and the rest of the world, he knew nothing about UFOs or aliens.
He was "electrified," as if all his hair all over his body stood on end, and he ran away from there as fast as he could.
The witness initially thought they were orange monkeys, but the creatures he saw were too tall, had no tails, and walked like humans.

He does not remember the number but he thinks that it was between 3 and 5. The distance made it hard to judge their height, but his impression was that they were about 5ft tall. They were orange/red in color and did not appear to be clothed or carrying anything, they seemed asexual and could not see any details on the facial features.
