Mr and Mrs Olaf Mohlinder were driving in the rain with their friend Assar Sandberg, who was driving, when they saw in the headlights a small figure no more than three feet (0.9 m) tall, who raised both hands to cover her face as they approached.
As the car approached, there was a blinding flash and a sound like a gunshot. Sandberg pulled the trigger (hit?) and the little man was still there.
They rode past and caught a glimpse of his attire: he was wearing a grayish raincoat and a helmet that looked like a Western hat.

As the car drew near, there was a blinding flash and a sound like a shot; Sandberg hit the break, and the little man was still there. They drove on by and had brief glimpse of its apparel; he wore a grayish rain cape and a helmet like a western hat.
