Two young sisters who lived in an isolated rural area were grazing cattle near a local stream when they noticed a strange creature that seemed to be hovering above the ground at a very high speed. It left behind a cloud of dust.
It passed so quickly that no features could be distinguished (only that it was small in size).
The next morning, the girls ' father found 10 dead pregnant llamas in a field. On further inspection, he realized that they were completely drained of blood.
The family tried to cook one of the animals, but the meat had an unpleasant taste. Several vultures that were trying to eat other dead llamas were seen to regurgitate what they had eaten and fly away. Later, the carcasses were burned.
