Initial data
The woman saw a four-foot (1.2 m) tall round-headed creature standing outside her kitchen window about 9 feet (2.7 m) away. It had two large glowing eyes and a kind of glowing halo around its head. No neck, mouth, or nose was seen. The cat and dog were acting strangely.
It was 2:00. The wife of the house could not sleep and sat in the dark of the house, Smoking a cigarette. She was struck by a white object that seemed to be standing right outside her kitchen window.
When she went to examine it, she saw "a thing four feet high." It wasn't a UFO, but a creature. This creature had a large round head with very large, too large eyes.
These "eyes" seemed to glow with phosphorescence.
Around this "head" or helmet was a halo of soft "flame". The "shoulders" point straight down at a 45-degree angle. You couldn't remember" it " anymore, whatever it was.
She wasn't afraid of the creature at all, and rather said that she thought it was "beautiful." She said maybe she couldn't move away from the window. She thought the surveillance only lasted about 15 seconds, and then she suddenly looked around and realized something strange was happening.
She woke her husband, who dressed and went outside. There was no trace of the "creature" except perhaps for one fact: their dog was found "scared to death" and lying low on the ground. He didn't follow the farmer as he surveyed the area.
On November 21, 1973, the same evening, local police and a Catholic priest reported UFO sightings around a nearby quarry. Once again, many other cases were reported in the Quebec region.
The entity is unique in this case. This is most similar to the famous "Braxton [Flatwood] County monster of 1952", which was one of the first encounters with entities ever described in the US.

Summary: A woman saw a 4-foot tall being with a round head standing outside her kitchen window, about 9 feet away. It had two large glowing eyes and a sort of flaming halo about the head. No neck, mouth, or nose was noticed. A cat and dog exhibited peculiar behavior. 2:00 AM. The wife of the house couldn’t sleep, and was sitting up in the darkness of the house smoking a cigarette. She was startled by a white object which seemed to be standing just outside her kitchen window. When she went over to inspect, she saw a “4-foot tall thing”. This was not a UFO, but appeared to be a creature of some kind. This thing had a large round head with very large, too large, eyes in it. These “eyes” seemed to glow with phosphorescence. Around this “head”, or was it a helmet?, there was a halo of soft “flames”. “Shoulders” angled directly down at a 45 degree slope. No more of “it”, whatever it was, could be recalled. The farm lady was not at all afraid of this entity, and said, rather, that she thought it “beautiful” and was attracted by it. She said, perhaps more ominously, that she could not move away from the window. She thought the sighting lasted only about 15 seconds, and then she suddenly snapped to, and realized that something odd was happening. She roused her husband, who dressed and went outside. There was no trace of the “thing” except perhaps one fact: their dog was found “scared to death” and lying low on the ground. It would not follow the farmer as he inspected the grounds.
Nov. 21, 1973; That same evening, local police and a Catholic priest both reported UFO sightings around a nearby quarry. Once again many other cases were reported in the Quebec region. The entity in this case is unique. It is most like the famous 1952 Braxton County [Flatwoods] WV “Monster”, which was one of the first entity encounters ever reported in the U.S. Sources: Claude MacDuff, “The November 1973 UFO-Invasion of Quebec” [monograph], 1976, Ted Bloecher files (CUFOS); and (same) UFOLOGY Fall 1976; and [letter] Wido Hoville to Ted Bloecher, August 19, 1976.
