Jean Dolecki was driving home after dark when a glowing object appeared in the sky and landed in a field by the road, 100 yards (30 m) away.
It had the shape of a cylinder with a narrow waist, the upper part was larger than the lower, with a diameter of 40-45 feet (12-13.5 m) and a height of 50-60 feet (15-18 m). A bright white light radiated from below, illuminating it.
The upper surface seemed to vibrate, and a relatively small vertical spiral was attached to each side near the top, which also oscillated.
A door opened at the top, and 3 "robots" resembling "aluminum diving suits", 6.5-7 feet (1.9-2.1 m) high, descended. They had square heads, disproportionately small legs, and instead of arms, a telescopic "pole" about 7 feet (2.1 m) long, mounted on their chests.
These entities moved near the UFO, moving mechanically and swaying the poles up and down, for about 10 minutes; then they entered again, and the car took off, disappearing at breakneck speed.

A door opened in the upper portion, and 3 “robots” resembling “aluminum diving suits,” 6.5-7 ft tall, descended. They had square heads, disproportionately small legs, and in lieu of arms, a telescopic “pole” about 7 ft long, mounted on the chest. These entities moved about near the UFO, walking in a mechanical way, & wagging their poles up and down, for about 10 minutes; then they re-entered, and the machine took off, disappearing at a vertiginous speed.
