Around midnight the following night, 18-year-old will Taintor was driving home to 15-year-old Abby Brabham, and at a point 2 miles East of Baxter's observation spot, they saw a small figure sitting on all fours facing the car in the left lane of the road.
It looked like a hairless beige APE or a small APE with a very large oblong head. Two large round eyes in the center of the head glowed green in the car's headlights. There was no nose, ears, or tail.
They passed within 8 feet (2.4 m) of the small creature, which Abby watched closely for about 5 seconds. Her companion, driving, only caught a glimpse of it.
None of them were aware of any other sightings at the time.

Summary: About midnight the next night, Will Taintor, 18, was driving Abby Brabham, 15, home and at a point 1.2 miles ENE of Baxter’s sighting they saw a small figure crouching on all fours, facing the car, in the left lane of the road. It looked like a hairless, beige colored monkey or small ape, with a very large, oblong shaped head. Two large round eyes in the center of the head glowed green in the car’s lights. No nose, ears, or tail were seen. They drove past, within 8 feet of the little creature, which Abby observed closely for about 5 seconds; her companion, driving, only glimpsed it briefly. Neither knew of the other sightings at the time.
