Initial data
Neil Sutherland, 16, and Lucy Gilbert, 15, were driving along a country road in a pickup truck when they stopped to give a lift to a rather strange-looking man who said he was from "another planet."
He was wearing all-over clothing with a turtleneck that "clung to his lower body like a metal wetsuit." He was about 5ft 4in (1.62 m) tall and was bald except for two tufts of hair on each side of his head. His eyes were dark, with a fiery red iris and cornea.
He spoke with an English accent and said that his planet is 5.6 light-years away and that he was ordered to photograph Toronto.
(He placed the box-shaped device and tripod in the back of the truck as he got in.)
The couple dropped him off at Goodwood, and the last thing they saw was him heading down highway 27 toward the city.

Neil Sutherland, 16, and Lucy Gilbert, 15, driving along a country road in a pickup truck, stopped to give a lift to a rather strange looking individual who said he was from “another planet.” He wore a one-piece garment with a turtleneck, which “clung to his lower body like a metallic wetsuit.” He was about five-foot 4 inches tall, and was bald except for two tuffs of hair on each side of his head; his eyes were dark with flaming red iris and cornea. He spoke with an English accent, and said his planet was 5.6 light years away and that his orders were to photograph Toronto. (He had placed a box-like apparatus and tripod in the back of the truck as he boarded.) The couple dropped him off at Goodwood and the last they saw of him was his heading down Route 27 toward the city.
