Several children at the tourist camp encountered five to eight very tall dark humanoids approximately 8 feet (2.4 m) tall with three fingers without thumbs. The creatures chased the children.

Other campers, including the teacher, also saw the creatures.

At the same time, the soldiers saw an object hovering over the local forest.
