A 34-year-old man named Platner saw the UFO and followed it in his van.
When he got out of the van, a beam of light paralyzed him. Four small humanoids in diving suits with large round eyes, one of them a woman, came out of the ship and contacted him using telepathy.
They took him on Board the ship, stripped him, took a blood test, and then he lost consciousness. When he woke up again, he was on the roof of his van.

Summary: A 34-year-old man named Platner saw a UFO and followed it in his van. When he stepped out of his van he was paralyzed by a beam of light. Four small humanoids wearing diver suits with large round eyes, one of them a female, emerged from the craft and communicated with him using telepathy. He was taken aboard the craft, undressed, a blood sample was taken, and he subsequently became unconscious. When he came to again he was on top of his van.
