The distraught mother and son claimed they were driving back from the mountains when they turned a bend in the road and came face-to-face with what they described as a tall, dark, hairy creature with large pointed ears and large glowing eyes. The creature had long arms that hung well below its knees.
They put the car in reverse and turned around. This apparently startled the creature, which suddenly dropped to all fours and ran away like a dog.
They reported their meeting to the local authorities.
