The three young men involved in the previous collision were driving into the city, about two miles from the site of the first collision, when a large, dark and hairy figure appeared on the side of the road.
He ran after them down the road and soon found himself at the level of the car. What was strange about this was that although the figure was running at a speed sometimes approaching 45 miles per hour, it didn't seem tired.
At one point, the creature looked curiously into the car at the three youths, but after about 5 minutes, it stopped abruptly in the middle of the road. They soon lost sight of the creature.
A woman living in a secluded cottage in the same area twice saw a dark, hairy figure standing in the woods and watching her cottage before disappearing into the undergrowth.

They soon lost sight of the creature.
