One morning, the farmer woke up and went outside and saw two short humanoids standing in the courtyard.
Startled, he asked what they were doing there, and the two left in silence, entering the nearest ship, which then flew away at high speed.
The humanoids were dressed in silvery metal clothing. Another farmer in the next San Calixto met a short humanoid who spoke to him in a deep, serious voice, telling him that his harvest would be plentiful this year.
He felt that the little man had brought him good luck.
