A UFO stole water from a military base in Santa Fe. There have been attempts to cover up the case for years, but the evidence is overwhelming.
The case comes 11 years later and shows a strange repetition of events related to ufology, which are deliberately hidden from the public. This episode occurred on the evening of November 24, 1999, at a military base located in the provincial capital of Santa Fe. A strange "print" appeared on the ground.
The official version suggested that the army officers were gagging, but research has shown that several witnesses directly observed the presence of a 40-meter flying object. But that's not all, because no one has been able to explain the reason why the water tank and the two water tanks supplying the troops were left completely empty.
The fascinating story of the event and its subsequent investigation were presented by Grupo Vision OVNI as a result of field research by experts Luis Bruss (general research), Ariel Maderna (photography) and engineer Fabian Rossi (calculation and diagrams).
"After learning about what happened, I decided to go to the base to conduct an investigation. Ten days have passed. I invited two research friends, Ariel and Fabian. So we took our gear and went to do some field research, which is undoubtedly the most enjoyable and interesting aspect, " Brussa says of the event's origins.
Search for the Truth
"Upon arrival, we were met by two soldiers. We told them we were looking into it and wanted to do some research. They took us to a superior officer, to whom we had to explain the situation in more detail, why we were doing this, and what we would do with our findings. Permission was given, " the researcher states.
He later explained that " the soldiers themselves led us to an experience located in the most remote area of the base, which spans six blocks. We started by examining the footprint and other objects, such as sheds, a water tank, trees, wires, and a cistern that supplies water and is 15 meters deep and 2.5 meters in diameter."

According to the story, Sergeant. Carlos Villano told the researchers:
"The tank was almost drained on the night of the event."
The officer also stated that the morning after the event, the principal of an elementary school operating on the base called him to report a lack of water in the school's toilet.
"I was sent to the tank to see what was going on, I thought the fuses were blown, but everything was fine," the officer said.
At the same time, he discovered that the tank and tank were out of the water, while noticing the circular impression for the first time.
Direct witnesses
Another witness was Claudio Cena, the reservoir's caretaker, who was 25 years old at the time.
"He said that he is a professional photographer, and showed us the photos taken from this event. He also explained that he played football with his cousin on the football field of the base, which is located in front of the base, opposite the Avenida Freire, " comments Brussa.
"Claudio said that after 21: 00 they saw a bright light in the direction of the water tank and that the lights went out all over the area, but not the street lights that remained lit. They paid little attention to the situation, believing that the light was due to a truck that was driving down San Jose Street outside the neighborhood, " Brussa says in his report.
The researchers interviewed the neighbors of the base and came across Martha.
"This woman said that that evening they were watching TV with their family and suddenly heard a constant, even humming sound, a sensation similar to the earthquake that Marta experienced in Cordoba, and she compared it to the same one. She stated that the TV and home lighting were turned off at least twice, although the power was not completely turned off, " says Brussa.
Another key witness was Ede, who already knew about the fingerprint. Aide from Colombia is married to a well-known rural doctor. Her son is an architect. On the night of the event, she was standing in the doorway opposite Calle Salta at about 20: 45 when she saw "a round-shaped light with a brightness similar to a fluorescent lamp, and it was flying at a low speed. The tops of the trees hid it. It gave off no sparks, no light, no smoke, no trace at all. It didn't change shape, blink, explode, or even accelerate. It simply moved on a fixed course, maintaining its bright light and shape."
"She saw only one object, which, according to her estimate, had a width of 30 to 40 meters and was located at a distance of 150 to 200 meters. She added that at the time, she felt a sense of calm and complete silence during the approximately 12-second duration of the event, " Brusa's report said.
Characteristics of the fingerprint found on the database
- Shape : round.
- Size: 5.30 meters
- Internal: 1.2 meters.
- Specifications: The internal print is not perfect. The outer print was a shape with hexagonal edges, not very pronounced to the south.
- Organic matter of plant origin: grass.
- Size: from 3 to 4 cm. high.
- Color: natural green in the center of the print; dark brown inside the print itself. The virgin soil surrounding the grass was the same as in the center of the print, a natural green color and normal height.
- Additional information: the print was located at a distance of seven meters from the water tank. Ten meters to the left is a shed with two water tanks that provide water to the tank. Water comes from the street network and fills both tanks.
An electric pump supplies water to a high concrete tank. The day after the incident, there was no water in the tanks. They [the tanks] have a diameter of 2.5 meters and a depth of 15 meters. The tank panel connected to the electric pump did not short-circuit.

The official story suggested a gag among army officers, but research showed that several witnesses directly observed the presence of a 40-meter-long flying object. But that isn’t all, because no one was able to explain the reason why the water tank and two water cisterns that supply the troops were left completely empty.

The first clue emerges here. According to the story that Sgt. Carlos Villano told the researchers, “the cistern was practically drained the night of the event.” The officer also stated that the morning following the event, the principal of the primary school that operates on the base’s premises called him to report a lack of water in the school’s restrooms. “I was sent to the cistern to see what was going on, thinking that the fuses had blown, but they were fine,” said the officer. At the same time, he found that the cistern and tank were both out of the water, while noticing the circular impression for the first time.
Direct Witnesses
Another witness was Claudio Chena, the water basin’s custodian, who was 25 at the time. “He said that he was a professional photographer and showed us pictures taken of the event. He also explained that he was playing soccer with his cousin in the base’s soccer pitch, which is in the front of the base, facing Avenida Freyre,” comments Brussa.
“Claudio said that after 9:00 p.m., they saw a bright light toward the water tank and that the lights went out throughout the district, but not the street lamps, which remained on. They paid little mind to the situation, thinking the lights were from a truck driving along with Calle San José, behind the district,” states Brussa in his account.
The researchers canvassed the base’s neighbors and came across Marta. “This woman said that on that evening, they were watching TV with the family and suddenly became aware of a persistent, even buzzing sound, a sensation similar to that of an earthquake, which Marta had felt in Córdoba, and she compared it as being alike. She stated that the TV set and the household lights experienced at least two brownouts, although power was not entirely lost,” says Brussa.
Another key witness was Aidé, who already knew of the imprint. Aidé is Colombian and is married to a renowned rural doctor. Her son is an architect. On the night of the event, she was standing in the doorway facing Calle Salta around 8:45 p.m. when she saw “a light having a circular shape, with a luminosity similar to that of a fluorescent bulb, and it flew at low speed.
The treetops concealed it. It didn’t give off sparks or lights, smoke, or any wake at all. It didn’t change shape, nor did it blink or explode, or even accelerate. It just moved on a fixed course, maintaining its brilliant light and shape.”

Shape: Circular. Measurement: 5.30 meters: Interior: 1.2 meters. Characteristics: the inner print was not perfect. The external print presented a shape with hexagonal edges, not very defined, toward the south. Organic vegetable matter: grass. Size: 3 to 4 cm. tall.
Color: Natural green at the center of the print; dark brown within the print itself. The virgin soil surrounding the grass was similar to that at the center of the print, natural green, and regular height.
Complementary Data: The print was seven meters distant from the water tank. Ten meters away on the left is a shed containing two water cisterns which provide water to the tank. Water comes from the street network and fills both cisterns.
