Initial data
The only witness observed on Lake Chaubunagungamaug a ship of a round shape, with a diameter of 12 to 15 feet (3.6-4.5 m), a thickness of four to five feet (1.2-1.5 m), dark brown or black in color. I saw bubbles or boiling on the lake.
I watched for 8 to 12 seconds, then saw the object rise out of the water and fly straight into the sky and disappear from view. No sound.
The police have been called. The witness is considered trustworthy.

Summary: CE2 Single witness (At Lake Chaubunagungamaug) Circular shaped craft, 12 to 15 ft. in diameter, four to five ft. thick, dark brown or black in color. Wit- saw bubbles/boiling on lake. Watched 8 to 12 seconds then saw object ascend from water and shoot straight up into sky and out of sight. No sound. Police called. Witness deemed credible.
