Two men, Thomas Wendel and chemist Laine Pilova, were on their way to town with a delivery when they noticed smoke ahead. Thinking that there was someone burning garbage, they came to this place.
As they approached the intersection, they noticed a large barrel-shaped object on the ground, silvery above and darker below. Soon, they noticed two figures standing side by side, who seemed to be moving their hands. The figures approached the car, and the terrified witnesses locked all the doors.
The figures were described as short humanoids with long, knee-length arms. Their faces were hidden. They were wearing shiny silver outfits. The figures made a strange indescribable sound and were described as having very thick legs.
The object that looked like a barrel or bunker was now emitting a very bright blue light from the bottom. The humanoids then turned around and walked back to the object. Then the blue light became brighter, there was a loud rumble like a sound, and the object took off at an incredible speed, quickly disappearing from view.

As they neared a cross roads they noticed a large barrel shaped object on the ground, silvery on top and darker on the bottom. Soon they noticed two figures standing nearby that appeared to be moving their arms. The figures approached the vehicle and the frightened witnesses locked all the doors. The figures were described a short humanoids, with long knee length arms. The faces were obscured. They wore shiny silvery outfits. The figures emitted some type of strange undescribed sound and were described as having very thick legs. The barrel or silo like object was now emitting a very bright blue light form the bottom section. The humanoids then turned around and walked back towards the object. The blue light then became brighter, there was a loud rumble like sound, and the object shot up at incredible speed quickly disappearing from sight.
