Jack Malacaria, like him, was busily washing the carpet. He kept seeing a bright flash of light coming through the window. Then there was another bright flash of light, and this time the light stayed on.

Something that looked like a lighted doorway or portal appeared in the middle of the floor. It opened, and a human silhouette appeared. Malacaria heard a voice in her head. He received a brief information, after which the portal and the figure disappeared.

But as he continued to work, the voice continued to speak to him in his head. He was apparently told that at least 170 different types of alien groups had visited Earth. He had further contacts.
