Rafael Garcia Arias was driving his truck near Lake Chapala when he saw a flash of light appear from the nearby mountains, disappearing into the distance. Immediately next to him, on the passenger seat, there was a man about 30 cm tall.
Surprised, he asked the little man where he was from, and was answered:
"From the lake Chapala".
Then the little man said that they had a base at the depth of the lake. It is reported that then the witness saw a vision of the flooded "city", enclosed in a glass case.
He was told that they were descendants of a crashed UFO that had fallen in the area thousands of years ago.
