Initial data
Around the same time that the green fireball was flying from New Mexico to Ventura, several people reported encountering a strange humanoid.
His height was about 4 feet (1.2 m), his face was egg-shaped with a small nose. The mouth was small and round, with long, thin fangs. He had multi-faceted eyes that glowed red as they reflected the light. The body was covered with short fur, like a hyena, and was colored gray with dark gray spots. The porcupine-like needles ran from his head down his back. His legs were powerful and shaped like a rabbit or a kangaroo.
One witness reported an attack on his pet pig, saying the creature easily outpaced his dogs. He jumped over a three-and-a-half-foot (1m) thick wire mesh fence. In another case, he cleared a five-foot (1.5 m) fence. Footprints with three clawed fingers were found.
All encounters occurred near the San Andrea Fault line.
