A farmer met a strange creature like a chupacabra in a field and shot it with a 30-30 shotgun.
He let out a high-pitched scream and ran away without leaving a bloody trail. When he fired, he attacked the farmer's cat. The cat survived the bite.
It was described as three feet (0.9 m) tall, yellow in color, with long spikes on its back 1.5 feet (0.4 m) long, glowing red eyes.
The creature was ten feet (3 m) away when it was shot, and it immediately dropped the cat and ran away.
