The farmer saw a white object in the shape of an inverted pear hovering over the field. He called his wife, and they both watched the object for about half an hour.
During the episode, a hatch opened and a man climbed out.
He was described as being about 40 inches (101.6 cm) tall with two huge black eyes. The creature hovered in the air near the object for about 10 minutes, then re - entered the object, which suddenly rose vertically and flew away at high speed.
