Four men driving to Cannock in a car saw a huge human figure standing on the road.
He was described as being about 6 feet 8 inches (203 cm) tall, thick-legged, very strong-looking, with a dark brown patina of hair.
He stood and stared at the car, seemingly unafraid. Then he went into the woods and disappeared.
