Thirty years ago, Briton Colin Kilty met a strange creature. He is still obsessed with tracking down and killing a monster that looks like a giant wolf on its hind legs.
54-year-old Yorkshire resident Colin Kilty has been trying to track down the werewolf for 30 years. This idea came to him after a long-ago meeting with a strange creature.
In the early 90s, while working as a trucker, he saw a running animal in the distance on the road. Colin assumed it was a deer until the animal reared up on its hind legs.
"I won't lie, I was petrified — the hair on the back of my neck stood on end," the Mirror quotes the man... In the flesh, he was much scarier."
Since then, Kilty has been carrying weapons (as well as maps, flashlights, and walkie-talkies) and plans to kill the beast. That meeting was supposedly not the last. In September 2015, again at the full moon, Colin (in his own words) again encountered the monster. This time, he couldn't see anything, but he could hear the impact on his car. The man claims that a "huge three-fingered hand print" was left on the car window.
Then Kilty, as he claims, even managed to take a photo of this trace. However, the picture is lost. All this could be taken as a lie, but Colin is not the only one who was "lucky" to make such an acquaintance.
Residents of Yorkshire say that since the 18th century, a huge wolf on its hind legs has been roaming the local hills. The Yorkshire werewolf even has a nickname – Old Stinker. In 2016, one of the animal rescuers said that she encountered the beast in person.
"It looked like a big dog, probably bigger than my car, but with a human face," is how Gemma Walner described the creature.
According to Colin, the Old Stinker has been seen all over the UK, including 12 people last year.
"All these people can't lie. There is something incredible, and I'm going to find it, " says the Briton.
