Farm worker Jose Ismael Pino was looking for a wild bull, but came across a creature four feet (1.2 m) tall, similar to a monkey, with long clawed hands and huge protruding fangs from its mouth, as well as a pair of wings.

Startled, he ran after the dogs that had attacked the creature. One of the dogs came back with a bloody neck.
