Three friends, including Ingrid Amalia Sperberg and Patricio Vallejos Tapia, parked on the outskirts of the city in a popular sightseeing spot to see the nearby lights of Angola.
They got out of the car and headed for the nearest observation deck.
There they saw a bright white light rising vertically at a distance of about 150 meters. The light then hovered close to the ground and seemed to fan out, revealing orange, yellow, red, and finally a light purple color. It illuminated the entire 40 meters around. When the light started to move, one of the witnesses got scared and went back to the car. The interior lighting of the car did not work.
The light then appears to close in, turning into a small white sphere, and then disappears behind some nearby hills. At this point, two witnesses began to hear a loud "bell" sound, repeated with a certain frequency. As the witnesses, one inside the car, two outside, were pondering what they had witnessed, one of them heard a sound like something metal being dragged along the ground.
Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw two short, dark-colored figures about four feet tall approaching the nearest metal fence door. According to eyewitnesses, the creatures resembled dark shadows, the facial features were not visible.
Interestingly, the figures seemed to be "crawling" or dragging on the ground. The metallic sound was still audible, and one of the figures seemed to be carrying two metal staffs.
The two figures stopped at the entrance to the fence, and then one of them went through the gate and returned to the street a few seconds later. Both figures now began to drag themselves away from the place. Then one of the witnesses went to the car and was able to turn on the high beam to get a better look at the creatures, but they had already disappeared.
Two witnesses reported that the creatures seemed to communicate with each other using a strange, high-pitched, inarticulate murmur. During the meeting, they noticed a peculiar smell in this place, resembling a burnt cable. They also felt a kind of heat wave as the figures approached their location.

They exited the vehicle and walked to the nearby viewing area. There they saw a bright white light rising vertically about 150 meters away. The light then hovered close to the ground and seemed to open up like a fan, exhibiting orange, yellow, red and finally a light violet color. It illuminated everything 40 meters around. As the light began moving, one of the witnesses became frightened and walked back to the car. The interior lighting of the vehicle seemed to be inoperative. The light then seem to close upon itself transforming into a small white sphere, it then disappeared behind some nearby hills. At this point two of the witnesses began hearing a loud “bell” like sound that repeated itself with certain frequency. As the witnesses, one inside the vehicle, two outside, pondered what they were witnessing, one of them heard a sound similar to something metallic being dragged on the ground. Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw two short dark colored figures about 4-feet tall, approaching a nearby metal fence door. During the encounter they noticed a peculiar odor in the area resembling burnt cable. Also they felt a sort of heat wave as the figures approached their location.
