18-year-old Vinit Sharma and his family were sleeping on the veranda of their grandmother's house when a strange creature jumped on the veranda.
It jumped up and hit my grandmother in the stomach. Two younger members of the family ran to help their grandmother, and a strange ape-like creature scratched their hands and face. Then he jumped across the yard to the roof of a neighbor and attacked the residents of this house.
The creature was described as about four and a half feet (1.3 m) tall, with the face of a rhesus monkey, well-developed shoulders, and two eyes that emitted a bright light.

It jumped up and punched the grandmother on the stomach.
