Disturbed by the sound of his dogs barking, 62-year-old Patricio Saldagno, armed with a flashlight, went out to investigate.
He noticed that the dogs were running furiously back and forth from one section of the yard to another. He then saw a huge hairy figure standing on two legs just 10 meters away from him.
He looked like a giant ape, staring at the witness with large, bright red eyes. The creature was silent and moved its huge arms in an apparent attempt to scare off the dogs, which, oddly enough, did not attack. The creature had long, sharp claws that reflected light in the dark.
His wife and two young children also saw the bizarre creature disappear into the darkness.
A few days earlier, a dead calf was found dead and partially eaten.
