Residents of this village in northwestern Nicaragua reported the sudden death of their sheep; apparently, they were attacked by an unknown creature, which they called "Chupacabra".
According to farmer Alicia Ikabalseta, 12 sheep were found dead, all with strange round wounds in the neck area. Another farmer, Albertina Brenes, reports the loss of 5 sheep due to a mysterious creature.
One of her nephews reported that he hears a noise at a time when the sheep is showing nervous behavior.
Other farmers reported seeing a strange creature, described as a mix of a dog and a kangaroo with very long and strong hind legs and very bright eyes, wandering around the countryside.
