The witness was outside, throwing snapdragons into the driveway. In front of his house and behind it are woodlands.
He looked up and saw a dark figure standing near the woods across the street. At first he thought it was the shadow of a bush, but then he saw it move. He stepped into the light cast by the single street lamp on the street.
He saw a creature about 3-4 feet (0.9-1.2 m) tall, with little or no hair, possibly a grayish-green color. He had three small claws that he could see on each hand. He was squatting on his haunches, and the witness thought of a kangaroo. He could see what looked like spikes on the creature's back.
At that moment, he turned and looked directly at the witness. His face was similar to a human's, except for a few features. There was no nose, only two slitted nostrils. Its eyes glowed yellow-green and seemed farther apart and slightly higher on its head than those of humans.
When the creature noticed the witness, it turned towards him and assumed a strange pose, suggesting that it was about to jump towards him. At this point, the witness turned around, quickly ran to his garage, and began typing in the key code as fast as he could.
As soon as the door opened, he rushed to the inner door, where he stopped and looked back, but the creature was gone.

He looked up and saw a shadowy figure standing near the woods across the street. At first he thought it was a shadow from a bush but then he saw it move. It moved into the light cast by the only streetlight on the street. He saw a creature about 3-4 ft tall, with little or no hair, possibly grayish-green in color. It had three claws that he could see on each arm, which were small. It was in a crouched position that made the witness think of a kangaroo. He could see what look like spikes running down the back of the creature. At this point it turned and looked straight at the witness. Its face looked like a human except for a few features. There was no nose, just two nostrils, like slits. Its eyes shone a yellow-green color and seemed farther apart and a bit higher up on the head than a humans’. When the creature noticed the witness it turned toward him and adopted a strange stance suggesting it was going to leap toward him. At this point the witness turned and ran quickly to his garage and began punching the key code as fast a he could. Once it was opened he dashed up the door inside, where he paused and looked back, but the creature was now gone.
