The main witness and his friend were on an empty road (Victory Dumas) just off Calion Road, sitting on the back door of their truck, just chatting. He got up from the passenger seat behind his cell phone and was about to open the door when he looked up.
About 15 yards (4.5 m) away, he saw a creature standing upright, 4 to 5 feet (1.2 to 1.5 m) tall, on the left side of the road. With great speed, he ran across the narrow road and stopped, crossing to the other side without looking at him. He flew off into the woods.
When this happened, his friend jumped off the luggage compartment door without seeing (only hearing) and asked what it was. The witness said he had no idea and told her to get in the truck.
He told her in the truck that he saw "something that didn't look like a person, but running straight. It was dark brown or black in color and looked covered in hair. He was hunched over, with a very stocky top, but still very fast.
They both sat in the truck in fear for about 5 minutes.

With great speed, it ran across the narrow road, and paused when it got to the other side without looking at him. It took off into the woods. When it did so, his friend jumped off the tailgate, not seeing (only hearing it) and asked what it was. The witness replied he had not idea and told her to get in the truck. He told her in the truck that he had seen “something that didn’t appear to be human but was running upright.” It appeared to be dark brown or black in color and looked to be covered in hair. It was hunched over, with a very stocky upper body but yet very quick. They both sat in the truck for about 5 minutes in fear.
