Two people went out late at night shopping near Monessen, located in the Mon Valley area.
As they passed under the bridge, the car's headlights struck a nine-foot-tall (2.7 m) humanoid creature covered in black hair that was standing on the side of the road. As soon as the light hit it, the creature squinted, turned, and tilted its head.
The pair stared at the creature for about 15 seconds, then quickly left the place. About 50 feet from where they saw the creature, they noticed a terrible smell.
Bigfoot has long been observed in the Mon Valley.
