On Vedlozer, known for frequent UFO visits, in 1933 there was a real rain of a substance that resembled jelly.
The peasants raked it with shovels away from the houses, and the local healer collected it in jars and stored it in the cellar. During the war, when there were no medicines, she treated fellow villagers and wounded Red Army soldiers with this substance.
It's hard to tell if it was "angel hair" or something else.
