Traces of an unknown creature have been found on Mai Pai Island - people are terrified. Mysterious traces of a giant creature appeared on Friday night on the island of Mai Pai (Bamboo Island, north of Phi Phi). The tracks that appear near the forest pass through the courtyard of the local school and lead to the sea.

Mysterious footprints have extremely worried students, parents and teachers. In their opinion, the tracks were left by a huge snake. The tracks are a long strip consisting of pairs of circles. Each such circle is 20 centimeters in diameter. Local experts have estimated that the length of the snake that left these traces should be at least fifteen meters.

Payni Atvarya, a teacher from a school in whose yard traces of a mysterious reptile were found, says that the fear of the islanders is intensified by rumors that the appearance of traces may be an omen of great trouble. Some of them predicted that on Friday, when the end of the world was supposed to happen according to the Mayan calendar, something truly terrible would happen.

Ms. Payne showed local experts and journalists the tracks that started on the hill in front of the school, then, passing through the school yard, playground and school gates, go to the beach and disappear into the waters of Pang Nga Bay.

Sansamut Anan, village head of Baan Koh Mai Pai noted that on the eve of the day when the tracks were discovered, the sea level was very high. Around 11 pm he heard the desperate cries of alarmed birds, but then did not attach any importance to it. The man said that recently a wave of mysterious disappearance of goats and ducks swept across the island, but the villagers thought they were eaten by a python. Many years ago, an eight-meter python weighing more than seventy kilograms was already caught on the island.

After examining the traces by experts, the village headman decided not to turn off the electricity generator on the island at night and prepare tools for fishing or, at least, protection from the alleged reptile. Scientists and police, together with volunteers from the civilian population of Bamboo Island, conduct a 24-hour patrol in order to search for and neutralize the mysterious animal that left this mysterious trail.
