Initial data
Residents of the village of Jany-Jer Sokuluksky district of the Chui region cannot find out who is killing their livestock.
According to one of the farmers, dead sheep were found in sheds in several households in the morning.
"I have already lost 9 sheep. The first case occurred on the night of April 6 to April 7, the second - from April 9 to April 10. At first, they just drank the blood, there were two holes left on the heads of the animals, reports. And the second time, the lower part of the leg and jaw were eaten out of the sheep. Now I'm thinking of setting a trap and personally guarding the barn. Although we did not write statements to the police, law enforcement officers came themselves, recorded everything, took the carcass for examination. Interestingly, the corpses began to deteriorate in a few hours, this has never happened before," the farmer said.
"There is no one to make claims to us. The locals are worried, everyone is worried about their cattle. I wish I knew who was acting like that. They say that's what the steppe lynx does. There were allegedly such cases in Issyk-Kul. They only attack sheep and lambs, in any case, they didn't touch my chickens. Maybe a few lynxes have appeared," he suggested.
It should be noted that representatives of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety were not aware of what was happening in Jany-Jere, saying that no one had addressed them with complaints and statements.
Recall that almost a year ago, residents of the Kochkor district of the Naryn region also complained about an unknown animal that allegedly killed chickens and small cattle. Then even the existence of the chupacabra was discussed in the country's parliament. Later it turned out that the wanted chupacabra was a stray dog.
