Initial data
Unusual footage from England captures a mysterious winged anomaly, which some compare to the legendary fairy fluttering near the house of one family.
The strange scene was reportedly captured by a doorbell camera at Alicia Stoddart's home in Hemel Hempstead.
Hemel Hempstead is a town in Hertfordshire, England. Part of the Greater London metropolitan area. The population is 97,500 people. It was built up after the Second World War as a new city, it existed as a settlement since the VIII century and received city rights from King Henry VIII in 1539.
While visiting her parents' home in the community of Clacton that evening, the security system warned her that something strange was happening in her house. When she checked her phone to see what triggered the camera, Stoddart was stunned to see a small white figure with huge wings.
"My first thought was, 'Oh my God, it's a fairy,'" she recalls, "we were racking our brains trying to figure out what it could be, and Googling possible culprits." However, according to Stoddart, they could not find what ordinary creature could explain the anomaly similar to a fairy.
"None of them fit the shape and size of the image," she explained, leaving her family "convinced that this is a fairy." As expected, Stoddart's three children were especially fascinated by this video, especially her son, who "believes in everything magical" and, as it turned out, at the moment his tooth fell out and it was for him that the "Tooth Fairy" flew.
Doubtless, skeptical observers will assume that the "fairy" in these frames is just an insect, perhaps a moth that flew past the camera, and its supernatural appearance is just a shadow and a trick of light.
While this is likely, Stoddart believes that "we all need a little magic and faith in our lives," especially in our turbulent times.
Hypotheses
Beetles and other insects
Flying insects in photos and videos can be mistaken for UFOs.
Shooting can take place in the daytime or in the evening. When moving, the outlines of the insect can be both blurred and clear. Depending on this, dark spots or spots of bizarre shapes can be taken for UFOs. The video shows UFOs hovering in the sky, flying in a straight line or moving along a complex trajectory (for example, shooting May bugs near a tree against the background of the evening sky). Insects can be mistaken for UFOs by accident, or given out intentionally. At night, they can be highlighted by a flash.
Subject when shooting with flash or backlight
Reflection of the flash on objects and small living creatures that are out of focus at the time of photographing.
