Poltergeist. Russia

A new outbreak of poltergeist in Irkutsk. On April 27, 2013, pensioner Lyudmila Petrovna addressed the Irkutsk-Kosmopoisk group, almost with tears in her eyes – a poltergeist has been raging in her apartment for about two weeks. As it was found out, the unexplained phenomena began in her apartment on about April 11-12, 2013 with the unexpected and repeated appearance of many bugs on her head, in her hair. The latest episodes with the movement of objects were already personally recorded by the experts of Kosmopoisk on Monday, April 29.

It was possible to find out that the active phase of the poltergeist began on Monday, April 22 and, apparently, continues to the present moment. The beginning of the main events was traditionally preceded by the "harbinger phase", which was expressed in a series of breakdowns: the refrigerator broke down, the kettle burned down, the alarm clock crashed. Also, a pensioner, and later researchers, noticed that all abnormal incidents occur only when her 8-year-old granddaughter Katya is in the apartment. Most of the episodes take place in the morning, from about 8:00 to 13:00.

Initially, the woman began to look for a rational explanation, and suspected her granddaughter Katya of this "prank".  But when a week later, on April 22, active movements and throwing of objects began in the apartment, it became obvious to Lyudmila Petrovna that some supernatural force should control all this. For 5 days (from April 22 to April 26), about 15 poltergeist episodes occurred: an invisible man threw dirt, pens and rubber bands at his grandmother and granddaughter; pots with flowers and huge boxes with seedlings were overturned in the hall; puddles began to appear periodically in the bathroom and in the kitchen; bouncing bottles and decanters poured water on the pensioner and Katya; taps in the bathroom opened and closed by themselves, tights and an iron cord were tied on a bow, etc.

The Irkutsk-Kosmopoisk expert group has already managed to visit the poltergeist apartment several times: on April 27 and 29. On the second visit, on April 29, when Katya was in the apartment, 6 poltergeist episodes occurred in the presence of researchers. It is interesting to note that all of them occurred in the range from 19:30 to 20:00, when the group turned off the video surveillance system and was about to leave. At first, in the hall "noisy spirit" began to throw erasers, when the researchers began to leave the apartment in their direction, pennies, a pair of shoes, a metal spoon for shoes flew out of the apartment on the landing. On top of everything else, a neighbor who happened to be passing by became a witness of the last episodes. In some episodes, the researcher managed to fix the end of the movement of objects. So, for example, it was noticed that one of the rubber bands flew along a steep parabolic trajectory.  The same evening, after the group left, for another 20 minutes, the "noisy spirit" continued its outrages – a jug of water and a glass vase were dropped in the kitchen, Lisa was hit on the head with a mop.

At this stage, the following provisions have become known from the research conducted by the group.

Granddaughter Katya shows all the signs of a "focal face". At the moments of poltergeist manifestation, as a rule, her temperature rises (even up to 420 once), her head begins to ache and it is difficult to see her eyes. Since the outbreak of the poltergeist, redness began to appear on the body localized. Throughout the entire activity of the phenomenon, Katya is in contact with a certain "little evil man", who takes responsibility for all the pranks. He calls himself "BANI" and looks like a dwarf or a brownie (at our request, Katya depicted him on paper). As Katya notes, unexplained phenomena occur not only at her grandmother's house, but also at school, which generates conflicts with both classmates and teachers.

Katya's communication with "Bani" is both verbal and a kind of telepathic nature. Often he predicts to her what will happen. In particular, what he himself is going to "teach". So "Bani" was well aware that researchers would come on April 29, install cameras and measure with instruments. Psychological tests conducted and the doctor's assessment of Katya's condition showed hidden psychological conflicts in the girl. Katya herself is quite a smart girl, prone to fantasies.

Instrument measurements for different days showed that changes in the characteristics of the high-frequency electromagnetic field (50 MHz- 3 GHz) were almost doubled when Katya was in the apartment. Moreover, a localized electromagnetic anomaly was detected in the area of the hall, from which the main throws of objects took place. The difference between days in this place affects more dramatically, so according to the indicator "energy density" is 63 times. The installation of a video surveillance system and stationary video cameras has not yet brought clarity, "Bani" defiantly refused to show himself in front of cameras. It is also important to note that the poltergeist proceeds according to a rather classical scheme (even very classical): a pronounced phase change is pronounced, the presence of a pronounced focal face in the face of a child with all the characteristic symptoms, a diverse, reasonable character of episodes.

The Irkutsk-Kosmopoisk expert group continues to study this interesting case. At this stage, the group is considering 3 hypotheses that explain what is happening:

A purely materialistic, natural solution to a psychophysical problem, i.e. a girl purposefully misleads her grandmother and researchers by staging all the episodes – a basic, working hypothesis.

The "trigger" hypothesis suggests that poltergeist-conditioned psychokinesis can take place due to the ability of the "carrier", in this case Katya, to somehow manipulate energy sources and redirect, convert large amounts of it into psychokinetic actions.

The supernatural hypothesis presupposes the assumption of the influence of an alien non-human mind (represented by a "Bathhouse") in the process of poltergeist and in communication with Katya as a focal person, with all the psychological effects that follow on her.
