According to ufomeldpunt.nl this is a planet:
Most likely Venus, because it is very large and bright, but Mars can also be seen, given the color. A rectangular shape is a distorted image of the camera lens.

Investigation
Based on the description of the observation, it looks very much like some kind of celestial body. Based on the appearance in the photo, it is difficult to judge, since it is obviously distorted by the camera when approaching.
