The family was seen running from the "bigfoot" on the chilling shots taken in Bashkortostan (Russia).

The chilling clip shows a black ape-like figure running through the tall grass behind the car, and family members can be heard whining in fear as they filmed the creature through the passenger side window.

Translated by Igor Burtsev, a Yeti expert, the panicked family told each other to "close the windows" but "keep shooting."

The video, which reappeared on Bigfoot Tony's YouTube channel, was originally filmed back in 2016 and has gained more than 314,000 views.

Bigfoot or shurale, as such creatures are called in this region. The footage of the video, made by a group of local young people, captures something dark and large. The creature, waving its arms, moves among the tall grass next to the steppe road.  The creature manages to be filmed especially well towards the end of the video, where it is better visible and at a slow speed you can see a powerful back, broad shoulders and big hands.

This video interested the Moscow researchers of the Bigfoot from the International Center of Hominology so much that they decided to urgently leave for Bashkiria. 

The head of the center is the famous Russian Yeti researcher Igor Burtsev, who has been for half a century (he himself is 79 years old) looking for these cryptids. According to him, he "lost sleep and peace" when he watched this video. He is sure that a real yeti was filmed on the video frames and that it is by no means a fake. 

"This, I believe, is the second such case in the world. So convincing. Because you can see that this creature is running. Moreover, when we studied the freeze frames, I saw a bulge there at one turn - this is a woman's breast. Do you understand? This is a female individual," Burtsev said in an interview with GTRK Bashkortostan. 

The recording was reportedly made back in 2016, but has only recently been widely distributed online. The authors of the video claim that this creature was chasing their car. And that at some point it was still able to catch up with them and damage the trunk and rear window, but they could not film it.  Burtsev has already walked through the forest in the Birsky district and immediately saw traces of the presence of a yeti here.

"When we went into the forest, we saw broken branches. Yesterday we were there. And completely fresh creases. In local terms, it is a shurale, and in Russian it is called a goblin, and in scientific terms it is a hominoid. Well, they used to be very actively called yeti, bigfoot, but these are all names of the same creature." 

According to media reports, scientists spent several days in the Birsky district, and also interviewed local residents on whether they had seen shurale.
