Hello, dear members of the AI Commission.

My letter to you was called in connection with the publication in the newspaper "Trud" of the article "Exactly at 4.10 ..."

A similar phenomenon had to be observed by me and a friend, being due to certain circumstances in the city of Vyborg, Leningrad region.

It was probably September 7, 1934, also at 4.10 am. At first there was a glowing dot, which my comrade took for

satellite.

Then the dot flashed and a green cloud appeared in its place, surrounded by a whitish circle. This circle gradually dissipated. The remaining green cloud did not change anywhere, although it slowly changed in shape. The cloud was located about east of the city. The green cloud gradually disappeared with the sunrise. That's all we had to observe.

Although no, another detail, there was indeed a dense "core" in the cloud, which was not in its center.

Now I want to draw your attention to the following circumstances:

- the cloud we observed would also be located to the right on the course of the plane on the Rostov - Tallinn flight, besides, the time of the appearance of the cloud coincides with us. Therefore, it seems to me that the pilots and I observed the same phenomenon;

- inconsistency in opinions about the movement of the cloud, which follows from the following excerpt of the article: "Object... stopped approaching, it seemed to the commander. Stopped moving away, the co-pilot decided." This leads to the conclusion that the cloud actually remained in place and what was flying behind them as tied ...", which is explained only by the large distance and the large size of the cloud.

And in general, V. Vostrukhin's article is more like an excerpt from the works of a pseudo-scientist, and it was hardly worth it for N.A. Zheltuzin to state the exclusivity of the described case.

It is not the task of our central newspapers to excite the brains of many millions of readers.
