After reading the article "Exactly at 4.10" in your newspaper for 30.01.85, I decided to write to you.

I, Oleg Yakovlevich Antonov, live in the city of Slantsy, Leningrad region.

I observed exactly the same phenomenon here in the autumn of 1984, 9 km from the town of Slantsy in the direction of Narva.

That day I worked the night shift from 24 to 8 in the morning. Just like in your note, I was sitting in the cab of the excavator at exactly 4-10 at night when I saw a bright light falling off. on the ground in the shape of a cone. My excavator was standing behind the dump and I could not see whether this light illuminated the entire space or just some place.

Then, after a while, this light began to slowly rise up, gradually dimming. and circles of different colors diverged around this cone. Then a cloud of green color with some blackness formed. And it began to move away towards the Estonian SSR.

All this was seen not only by me alone, but also by my assistant, who was with me in the excavator. It was also seen by the driver of the Belaz-540, who was 3 km away from us. the time at which I saw this phenomenon, I remember because at 4 o'clock we have lunch, which for some reason was delayed that night.

there was no car in which I had to leave for lunch and I was looking at my watch. I feel that the car is delayed. After lunch, which lasted about 20 minutes, I saw a green cloud leaving, with some blackness, like black smoke.
