September 8, my husband says so (but I forgot the exact date), I remember it was in the 1st half of September 1984. At the fourth hour of the night, as always, my daughter woke me up, who at that time was a little over a month old (she could not stand the exact break) and woke up to feed, swaddled her, fed her, and a few minutes after the fifth I went into another room to take out wet diapers, and suddenly, a small triangle attracted my attention, as I it seemed to be over the roof of a neighboring house. I didn't turn on the light in the room so as not to wake my husband, so I immediately noticed this triangle against the dark sky. The thought flashed "for some reason the lantern was hung over the roof of the house," I looked closer and was amazed, the beam of light began to increase quite quickly and seemed to approach.

Probably from fatigue, I thought, but I still opened the door to the loggia and went out, but no, that's it, the beam of light was increasing. The contours were clearly visible on the sides, the light was scattered below.

Suddenly, in the center of this ray, I noticed a bright blue spot, which in turn began to increase and, as it were, approach. I woke my husband up, he even asked, "What are you saying in a scared voice, is something wrong?" Then the two of us watched. The beam of light increased to a large size and the light turned into a kind of fog, there were no clear outlines anymore, and the blue spot increased, turning into the shape of a comma, only in the opposite direction. Then this spot began to dissipate and gradually disappeared. Other manifestations were not noticeable.

We live in the northern part of the city of Leningrad, the outskirts, the area is called Shuvalovo-Ozerki, it happened in the northeast of our district.
