We inform you that on February 4, from 19-05 to 22-40, we observed an unusual star over the city of Kohtla-yarve of the Estonian SSR in the Yikhvisky part of the city. This phenomenon was observed by 4 people at once.

The first thing that caught our attention was the brightness and shape. The shape of the "star" was conical, there were rays on the sides, and the rays then decreased, then increased. The color of the object resembled a light bulb turned on (powerful), i.e. with a yellowish tinge. But the most interesting thing was the movement of the object. The movement began with rotation, then the object stretched out, leaving behind a cloud cover and again rose into a vertical position, taking its original shape. Suddenly, 2 very bright dots began to approach the object. At the moment of their connection, the brightness increased dramatically. Then one of the dots broke off and disappeared.

The second one remained with the "star" and the object began to move away starting rotation. At 22 : 00 , the object was above the road to the village . Sompa. The object was clearly moving away, leaving behind a hazy cloud cover. After the disappearance, it became very dark. Not a single star or moon was visible in the sky, whereas an hour ago, when the object was above the 9-storey building of the microdistrict, it was unusually bright, there was a bright moon and stars.
