Ivanov A.I. reported that he was an eyewitness to AYA in 1982 in April (a month before the birth of his child in May 1982). Ivanov's wife Alexandra was also an eyewitness. The observation was conducted from the balcony of his house in Sosnovaya Polyana (Pionerstroy) from the 6th floor at 5 o'clock in the morning (4-30) the Windows face east, on the Gulf of Finland.
Ivanov A.I. did not sleep, because he was writing a diploma (there was a message about this in the newspapers, which he does not remember). At the same time, radio interference was noted by ITA employee, radio amateur Anatoly Sergeyevich Vashkevich - on the same night - Vashkevich complained to Ivanov about the weak transmission of the radio signal. The object was in the form of a light cone, the light is opaque, the sky is without stars, twilight (the glow of dawn) without clouds (absolutely clear).
A.I. Ivanov was shocked, but managed to call his wife, who saw the same thing. The cone was viewed as if from below. The cone was shocked by the fact that the light ended with a "bagel", and this, according to A.I. Ivanov, contradicts the laws of physics.
The cone was many times larger than the Moon (in angular dimensions) and hung about 1 km from the horizon line (it was, because the cone was hanging on the Gulf of Finland), 100 meters from Ivanov's house - the dot house cone is on the top right.
It seemed that the object was not close. The stars were not visible, i.e. there was one star - at the top of the cone. the observation was conducted with a break (he left the balcony to call his wife), A.I. saw that the object had already turned into a star, leaving an orange-red opaque cloud in place of the cone (3 times smaller than the cone). The glowing dot rapidly moved across the sky to the left and up, moving away from the city. The wind dissolved the cloud. sky. as before, it remained cloudless and clean (the wife managed to see the cone, but Ivanov did not see it for the 2nd time, i.e. he did not see how the cone disappeared, but only found a cloud with a rapidly receding luminous dot above it).
A.I. Ivanov told about this case immediately to his entourage (closest) at work. They laughed at him. He was ashamed to inform the authorities, so as not to be known as a schizophrenic
