Please help me explain the following phenomenon from a scientific point of view.
This winter, my husband and I rested at the Bolshevik state farm in the Bobrovsky district of the Voronezh region.
One day (more precisely in the middle of December) I went outside, it was 10 o'clock in the evening, and it was very dark. I noticed. on a bright glowing disk in the sky, strictly round in shape. It looked like the moon and was about the same size. When I looked closer, I saw that a circle of blue and large size was glowing around him like a halo.
I ran home to invite my husband to look at an unusual phenomenon. When we came out, the disk increased in size, dimmed, keeping the same blue environment, which reached the size of half the sky and gradually laughed, a neighbor nearby was watching the same.
I was struck by the unusually smooth shape and bright light. It was located vertically on the ground.
It can't be the Northern Lights (where is it from here?!), and I've seen it many times, because I live beyond the Arctic Circle.
