Initial data
Taraban Anatoly Andreevich writes to the newspaper 's editorial office:
After reading an article in the newspaper "Trud" about UFOs, I saw something similar in Murmansk, I can't say for sure the number, but it was in the second half of December. In the morning, when I was going to work at 8-00 - 8-15, I noticed that a glow broke out in the direction of Kildinstroy and a beam of a huge searchlight was directed at the ground. I was surprised by the following:
1) What kind of power do you need to have a spotlight so that from a great height such a directed beam of light is visible
2) Considering that it is a polar night in Murmansk, I thought that an urgent survey of the territory was needed and therefore this experiment is being conducted
3) It lasted 5-8 minutes and suddenly disappeared and to the side I saw a cloud as if it had disappeared and to the side I saw a cloud as if their points were glowing bluish turquoise color, its direction was from south to north. I came to work, I was still watching from the office, looking out the window, it was all 25-30 minutes. I told my employees about it, they confirmed that they had seen such a phenomenon two days ago.
But they stopped at the fact that they probably tested rocket technology or conducted filming. We stopped there and didn't discuss it anymore. After reading the article, I decided to write.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
